It is pouring rain, so I had extra time to be crafty this morning! Lots of coffee and ready to create!
I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge today! I always love their sketches and the Design Team amazes me every week! The talent is unbelievable on their team! Thanks for all the inspiration!
My last post was using this same stamp and die set by Papertrey Ink. The set is called "Pedal Pusher." I am loving it! This arrived just in time to make a birthday card for a very special guy. He will be celebrating his 75th birthday this weekend and I just had to make a card for him. He is my special friend's husband and he is such a kind and generous man. He loves to ride and he also LOVES his dog! I hope he will enjoy my special tribute to him!
Pacific Point is one of my all time favorite colors! I always think it looks amazing paired with black. I found this Designer Series Paper in the "Stacked With Love" paper stack available until the end of the month from Stampin' Up! It reminded me of a flag used at a race. Not really checkered, but close! I thought it made the whole card pop with color! It took me longer to find a piece of patterned paper I liked, than to make the card! LOL! The little puppy is stamped in Crumb Cake. He looks so cute peeking out of the basket!
I attached the wheels with brads from my stash. The wheels actually turn! That is just so fun! The inside sentiment is perfect to celebrate a special birthday! The matching envelope finishes the project!
