Let's Be Frank The Paper Players Challenge PP757

 September 28, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The Sensational Stef is our hostess this week and she has a great sketch challenge for all of us!  Simple and fun--you can create any kind of card with this one.  I know it is a sketch we can all use over and over.  So have fun and get creative.!

I had so much fun creating this card.  I smooshed black, purple and blue distress inks on a piece of watercolor paper.  I splashed water droplets on the paper and after it dried, I embossed it with a wood grain folder for more texture. Frank was created using the Simon Says Stamp Oh Frank stamp & die set.  I stamped the head, hands, and bolts with black ink and colored all the pieces with Copic Markers. I used a yellow circle to pop Frank off the card and a rectangle to add the sentiment.  A few black enamel dots were added to finish my card.

Ghouls Night Out Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC370

September 28, 2025

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

We have a fantastic sketch challenge by Melissa for all of you!  There are so many possibilities with this sketch.  Have fun and get creative!

I love to make Halloween cards.  I had so much fun creating these little ghosts.  I found this great piece of Halloween paper in my stash.  I cut a black frame out of two rectangle dies.  The little ghosts were created using the Lawn Fawn Booyah stamp and die set.  It does take a bit of time to cut all the pieces and color them with Copic Markers but, so worth the effort.  I added some Wink of Stella for shine.  The sentiment is from the same set and heat embossed using white powder on black card stock.   Hope my card makes you smile!

Have a Wonderful Birthday The Paper Players Challenge PP756

September 21, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The lovely Jan is our hostess this week and she has a Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us!  "Watercolor" is the theme this week.  You can use this for any type of card, just remember to keep it CAS!  We can't wait to see what you create.

My card is created using one of my favorite stamp sets by Simon Says Stamp.  Sketched Flowers and Dies is so versatile and you can make such beautiful cards with this set.  I heat embossed the image in gold embossing  powder and watercolored the flowers.  I heat embossed a sentiment and that completed this card.  It really was easy.  Lots of white space and no embellishments but, lots of impact.
