Ho Ho Ho The Paper Players Challenge PP618

November 20, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. The amazing Joanne is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us! It's time for "Christmas" so we can't wait to see all of your creations!

My card is created on a white card base. I added blue snow flake paper I found in my stash for the bottom layer. The top layer is white and I trimmed it with a scallop border die. The little PI girl from MFT Stamps is called Christmas Sweetheart. I stamped her in black ink and colored her with Copic Markers. I added Wink of Stella for shine and used a Marvy Snow Marker to create the fur. I cut her out using the matching die. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I cut a window shape with a die to create the window in the same blue paper. Snowflakes were cut with a die using silver foil to complete the card.

A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes The Paper Players Challenge PP617 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC296

November 13, 2022

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.

The Amazing Jaydee is our hostess and she has a fun Color challenge for all of us! We can't wait to see what you create.

The fabulous sketch at Sunday Stamps is by Lisa! How fun is this? So many possibilities with this one! Have Fun!

My card was created for my DIL, Niki! She is a huge Disney Lover. I started on a white card base and added a black panel. The silver glittery strip was added for lots of shine. The little Mouse ears are from the stamp "EarResistable" by Ink Road. I stamped them in black ink and fussy cut them. I cut three circles using Tempting Turquoise card stock and a stitched circle die. I added the Mouse ears on the silver strip. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I used the turquoise paper so it would pop off the black. Rhinestones were added to complete my card.

Gratitude Changes Every Thing The Paper Players Challenge PP616

Nov. 6, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. I am the hostess this week and I have a very timely theme challenge for all of you! "GIVE THANKS" is so appropriate for the season! There are so many possibilities with this theme because we ALL have so much to be thankful for! We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white base. I covered the background in a checked patterned paper. I added a piece of Very Vanilla (SU) card stock and cut it using a Penny Black die--Antique Frame -and used the frame for the next layer. I used 3 colors of distress ink on a piece of watercolored paper and blended all the colors together. Then I cut all the leaves from the blended piece of paper. The die is from SU and it is called gorgeous leaves. I believe this set is retired, but I will keep it in my stash because the leaves are so beautiful and intricate. The sentiment is stamped in dark brown using Honey Bee Stamps-Fall For You. I cut it out with the matching die. I added a few enamel dots to complete my card.
