I Think You're SUPER DUPER-PPA259

July 13, 2015

I just adore the color combo at the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week!  I love Real Red, so anytime I can use it in a creation, I am happy!

My base card is White (5 1/2 X 4 1/4)  The next layer is cut with a rectangle stitch die using The Jewel Collection from Avery Elle.  The frame is cut using SugarPea Designs-Poloroid-Journal Card in Pacific Point.  I cut another frame in White for the inside.  I used a sponge dauber and Pacific Point ink to create the background.  The little girl was stamped in black Momento ink using Mama Elephant "Tiny Heroes" stamp set.

I colored the little hero using Copic Markers and fussy cut her.  I used silver foil to cut the stars using the Reverse Confetti star garland die.
The sentiment was stamped in black Versa Fine and heat embossed with clear embossing power.  Wink of Stella was added on the little hero for some extra shine.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts!  I am so happy you stopped by my blog.

Have a SUPER day!

Claire

Sending Love and Sympathy--PP253

July 12, 2015

It's Sunday and time for another challenge at The Paper Players.  The lovely, Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a beautiful color combination for us!  We can't wait to see what you create!

I absolutely love the new SU color, Mint Macaron!  I debated with the Smokey Slate and Sahara Sand choices for my base card, but finally went with the Sahara Sand.  My base card is 5 1/2 X 4 1/4.  The next layer is Mint Macaron (5 1/4 X 4) with rounded corners on right side.  The next layer is Natural White.  (5 X 3 3/4) I embossed it on the edge with a retired SU folder and used Sahara Sand ink and a dauber to add color.  I also used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to add grunge.  I stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand.

The flowers are from Altenew-Peony Scrolls Flowers.  I stamped the flowers with Versa Mark on Whisper White and heat embossed them with white powder.  I used Copic Markers to color the flowers and cut them out with the matching dies.  They are adhered with foam tape for dimension.  Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added for sparkle.

I am so glad you stopped by my blog today.  Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I love to hear from you!
