  • The Challenge is open for 2 weeks and the Linky will close on Friday, April 24th @ 6pm EST.

I knew exactly what I wanted to create when I saw the inspiration photo.  My base card is white, but I used Pink Pirouette for my background paper and then cut a piece of Pear Pizazz DSP from the (retired) Gingham Garden series using a Mama Elephant frame .  I stamped the (retired) Hardwood stamp on a piece of Crumb Cake and then used a picket fence die from Lawn Fawn to cut it out.  Pink Pirouette ink was used to stamp the bicycle after I cut it out using the "Pedal Pushers: die by Papertrey Ink.  The basket is stamped in Crumb Cake, the vines in Pear Pizazz and the flowers in Wisteria Wonder.

.
Believe it or not, the wheels actually turn!  I used two pink brads that I found in my stash to attach the wheels.  The beautiful pink flower sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.  The envelope is lined using the Pear Pizazz DSP from the Gingham Garden collection and the Envelope Liner.  I think it is the perfect finish for any card.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I love to hear from you, so please leave a comment!  Wouldn't you love to hop on this pink bike and take a ride down the beach?

Have a wonderful week!

At Our Age We Are Going to Need Glasses-Lots and Lots of Them! --PPA247 & FMS 181

April 11, 2015

I have not been able to craft all week.  I had my Granddaughters for Spring Break week, so I have been very BUSY with them!!!!

I am so excited to have time to craft again.  My card today is for the Pals Paper Arts colors challenge and the Freshly Made Sketches challenge!  WOW!  A win-win for me this week!  It doesn't seem like I can combine many of my challenges.  It always amazes me when contestants can find 4 or more to enter on one card!  LOL!

My card is created using Blackberry Bliss, Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum inks and an Aqua Painter to create the background on Watercolor paper.  It was fun to see the three shades of purple blend together!  I trimmed it using my stitched rectangle die and then cut a white rectangle with the smaller size.  I stamped the Wine Diva from Art Impressions and used a variety of Copic Markers to color the image.  I smiled the entire time I was coloring!  I stamped the sentiment in black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder on the vellum to make it shine and pop out!  It is hard to read in the picture, but it really does look good when you see it.

I added a lot of Sugar Plum Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh to create some spark to the card!  I thought it was so fun to make it more girly!  Wink of Stella was added to the image for some added shine!  A lined envelope was created by my Envelope Liner using Perfect Plum Background Designer Series Paper.

I am so happy you stopped by my blog today!  Please leave a comment!  I love to hear from you!

Any questions, contact me at: Claire.

Have a fabulous weekend!  We are all geared up to watch the final round of the Master's tomorrow.  It takes place about an hour from our home.  We love to see all the beautiful flowers and the gorgeous course!

Happy Stampin!
