Sending My Love The Paper Players Challenge PP774

February 22, 2026

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The lovely Jan is our hostess this week and she has a very fun and versatile sketch for all of us.  I love sketches because you can make any type of card you need in your stash.

My card is for Victoria because she loves purple.  I found these two pieces of purple paper in my stash and created the background and the horizontal strip.  I stamped the image of this sweet little girl from Simon Says Stamps on a white panel.  The stamp set is called, "Lila's Heart."  (it is retired now)  I cut it out with a die with rounded corners.  I colored her with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  A few black enamel dots were added for fun.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

OMG Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC380

February 22, 2026

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

I am the hostess this week and I created this fun sketch for all of you!  I will use this over and over because  you can create a card for any occasion.  So have fun and get creative!

This card was made for my college girlfriend.  We are leaving today for a week on a Disco Cruise through NCL.  This card was so easy to create.  I cut the background paper from Groovy Darlin paper pack. The Spellbinders Disco Balls Etched Dies were cut using shiny silver cardstock.  I cut two silver strips to follow the sketch to add to the side.  The stars are a die in the set.  The sentiment is from CZ Designs Salty Ladies stamp set.  I heat embossed the sentiment in silver embossing powder.  And that's it!

Happy Birthday The Paper Players Challenge PP773

 February 15, 2026

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The sensational Stef is our hostess this week and she has a fun challenge for all of us!  We all need birthday cards in our stash.  So, here's your chance to create a special CAS birthday card for someone special.  You need to add a balloon or balloons to your creation!

Remember, clean and simple means limited layers and embellishments, along with plenty of "white" or open space.

Everyone knows I love hippos and this guy hasn't had any ink love in a longggg time.  I added a strip of polka dots from my scrap stash and cut this festive circle die with the sentiment to showcase my hippo.  The die is from MFT.  They are no longer in business.  I bet you could find it if you looked around on Ebay.  I will keep it in my stash.  The little hippo is from the Happy Hippos stamp set and is colored with Copic Markers along with his trio of balloons.  This is also a MFT stamp set.  I added some white ink lines for accent.  No other embellishments were added since it needs to be a CAS card.

Thinking of You The Paper Players Challenge PP772

 February 8, 2026

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Ann is our hostess!  This beautiful color combo is her inspiration for the week!  Such a beautiful palette to create your projects.  Have fun and get creative!

I will admit, I had a few struggles.  This is my third attempt to create I card I was happy with.  I love all these colors, but putting them all together became a challenge for me.  I love Lost Lagoon, so decided to go with that as my background.  I embossed the top panel with a striped embossing folder.  I know I have used these Spellbinders flowers often, but I love them. The Fresh Picked Anemones are so fun to work with.  You can created any color or flowers.  A simple sentiment and a few enamel dots completed my card.

I LOVE YOU Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC379

 February 8, 2026

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

Heidi has a fabulous sketch for all of us.  Have fun and get creative!

Use up your DSP scraps!

I looked through my Valentine paper pads and found all these pieces of paper that I could mix or match.  I choose one to mount on a pink background and got busy cutting all the strips.  I added the large Love You sentiment and pink enamel dots to complete the card.  I really love the way it turned out.  Pink and red are a favorite color combo of mine.

Happy Valentine's Day The Paper Players Challenge PP771

 February 1, 2026

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

I am the hostess this week and I have a timely "Theme Challenge" for all of you!  With Valentine's Day right around the corner, you can make a Valentine for someone special or you could also make any type of card that focuses on "Love".  Anniversary, Birthday, and Friendship are a few possibilities.  Have fun and get creative!

I found this fun Valentine paper pack and decided to use it to create my non-traditional card.  I cut a scalloped background using the bow paper.  I used the Simon Says Stamp Petal Heart Wafer Die to cut the petals for the flower and leaves.  The Love Sentiment was cut using  Cherry Lynn Dies the Bohemian Words Dies.   I don't think this company is in business now.  I added a black sentiment heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Black enamel dots and a pink hearts were added to complete my card.
