Christmas Bells Are Ringing The Paper Players PP717

November 24, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The Sensational Stef is our hostess this week and she has a fantastic sketch for all of us!  This one is so versatile and can be used for any type of card.  So pull out those supplies and start crafting!

My card is created by adding some fabulous plaid I found in my stash.  I love the gold in this plaid.  The diagonal strip is gold foil.  Then I added a Night of Navy square cut with a stitched die.  I used the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layer Dies to create the bells.  The sentiment is also from Honey Bee Stamps.  Jingle All the Way Cuts has so many fabulous sentiments.  A few gold gems completed my card.

Peace On Earth Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC349

November 24, 2024

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

We have a beautiful color challenge for all of you!  These colors will make gorgeous winter or holiday cards, but feel free to get creative.  We can't wait to see what you create!

To create my card I added a black panel to the card base.  I then used a dark green panel for the next layer.  I used the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers dies to create all the snowflakes.  I cut them in silver and gold foil.  I just started layering them and couldn't stop.  LOL!  It was a little time consuming, but worth all the effort.  I added another green panel and heat embossed the sentiment with gold powder.  I added a few gold sequins to complete my card.

Ho, Ho, Ho The Paper Players Challenge PP716

 November 17, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

Our Queen of Clean and Simple, Jaydee is our hostess this week.  She has a very timely theme for us.  "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" is perfect for the season.  So, grab your crafty items and get creative.  Just remember to keep it CAS!!

My card is created using an embossing folder to create the back panel.  The Santa is from Picket Fences stamps.  It is called Santa Claus Comes Tonight.  I colored him with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  I fussy cut him and attached him to the panel.  The sentiment is from a stamp set in my stash.  I didn't add any embellishments since this was a CAS challenge.  That  is always hard for me.

Warmest Wishes The Paper Players Challenge PP715

 November 10, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

I am the hostess this week and I have a bright, bold Color Challenge for all of you!  The possibilities are endless --so have fun!  You can create any type of card you want with these colors!  Bright colors always make me smile!  I love what the DT did with my colors!

I had so much fun creating this non-traditional Christmas card.  I added a purple background to my card base.  The turquoise panel was embossed for texture.  The ornaments are from the Simon Says Stamps Holiday Ornaments stamp and die set.  I colored the ornaments with Copic Markers and cut the purple strings with the die.  I added Glossy Accents on the candy and to the carrot nose to make them shiny.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

I just love this sketch by our Melissa!  It can be used for any type of card.  This one is a keeper!  Have fun and get creative!

I needed a special birthday card for a dear friend.  She loves pink so, I had fun making this for her.  I found these fun papers and mixed and matched the patterns to create the sketch.  The little cutie and sentiment is from MFT Pure Innocence.  Birthday Girl is fun to color and I used the matching dies.  I added Wink of Stella and rhinestones for more bling!

Give Thanks The Paper Players Challenge PP714

November 3, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Elizabeth is our hostess this week.  She has a timely Theme Challenge for all of us.  November is a time of gratitude, so let us see your ideas for being thankful!

I added a wood grained DSP to the background.  The Fall and green DSP were in my stash and I cut them to make the next layer.  I repeated the woodgrain in an oval shape to ground my little Pilgrim.  The Pilgrim girl is from Stampinbella.  The name of the stamp is Tiny Townie CASEY has a CORNUCOPIA.  I colored the image with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  A simple sentiment was added to complete my card.  I love the way this turned out.  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  It is all about family, friends, food and fun!
