When Life Gives You Lemons---- Paper Players Challenge PP633

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. 

The Amazing Anne Marie is our hostess this week and look at this fabulous sketch she has for all of us!  This is so versatile and easy to use.  Perfect for any holiday or occasion!  I love that!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a layer of green and white polka dots.  The two rectangle strips were cut from a coordinating paper that I found in my stash.  I loved the citrus piece.  The lemon is from the Simon Says Stamp You Shine stamp set.  I colored the lemon with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I stamped it with black ink using the same stamp set.

Thinking of You Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC305

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  

We have a fabulous color challenge for all of you!

You must use a minimum of 3 colors from the graphic, plus you may also use a neutral of your choice. 

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a lime green layer that I cut with a scalloped die.   This stamp set is from Concord & 9th, "You are Enough".  I have used it often but, I love it and will keep it in my stamp collection.  I stamped the flower twice on watercolor paper and colored the flowers with Copic Markers.  It was difficult to get a smooth blend on the watercolor paper, so I used a water brush on top of the coloring. I trimmed this layer with the scalloped die, too.   The sentiment is stamped in black.

Happy Spring, Happy Easter, Hippity Hoppity The Paper Players Challenge PP632

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. 

The Amazing Ann is our hostess this week and she has a very fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create!   Spring is in the air, so have fun and get creative! 

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut another layer and sponged the edge with turquoise ink.  I used the Simon Says Stamp Peeking Bunny die to cut the three bunnies.  I added a scrap of plaid paper behind the bunny.  Great way to use some scraps.  I stamped three sentiments in black ink.  I know enamel dots are NOT clean and simple, but I hope Ann will forgive me.  I couldn't help myself!  LOL!  This is for my grandson!

With Sympathy The Paper Players Challenge PP631

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. 

The Amazing LeAnne  is our hostess this week and she has a very fun Color  Challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create!  You know I love bright colors so, I had a lot of fun ideas for this challenge!

 I wanted to make something fun with these colors, but unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card this week.  I used Mustard Seed and Twisted Citron Distress oxide inks to create the panel on watercolor paper.  I heat embossed the dandelions and sentiment with white embossing powder using the Simon Says Stamp Dandelion Messages stamp set.  I splattered the panel with water.  I added a Tahitian Tide panel  to the top of a white card base.  I added white pearls to complete my card.

For Some Bunny Special The Paper Players Challenge PP630

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. 

The Amazing Joanne is our hostess this week and she has a very fun Theme challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create!  

My cards are created on a white card base.  I cut a gingham background.  I added a scalloped border in pink and blue.  The little bunny is cut using a MFT die called Cottontail Cutie.  I sponged around both bunnies to add some dimension!  These little bunnies are so cute, but they do take some time and patience to cut all the pieces and glue together.  I added some white gel pen and enamel dots to finish each card.  The green and white gingham was added to the envelope, too!  The sentiment is heat embossed in white powder.  The sentiment is from the SSS stamp set called EGGstra Sweet Easter.
