I have always loved this song, so I decided to make a couple of cards with the Favorite Things stamp set from Papertrey Inks. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on pink and turquoise card stock.
I used the Simon Says Stamp Brilliant Gifts Wafer Die to create the packages. I cut it twice in Kraft paper and twice in white. I added a piece of tape on the back of the Kraft ones so most of the pieces stayed in tact. I only had to piece a few pieces back in the spaces. I glued the white outline on top of the Kraft cut outs. I did add dimensional tape on the back to make it pop. A few white enamel dots were added for fun.
Do you have a favorite? I love non-tradional colors for Christmas. You could make them in so many colors! I may make a few more to add to my stash.
Thanks for stopping by! Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts. I love to hear from you!
The hop is hosted by the fabulous Kelly Lunceford's blog, so head over there to start from the beginning.
ENJOY the blog hop! I hope we inspired you to make a few cards, too!
HUGS!
Claire
