Sending Thanksgiving Wishes The Paper Players 416

October 28, 2018

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at  The Paper Players!
The Amazing Anne Marie  is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous Sketch Challenge for all of us!  Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create!  Oh, the possibilities are endless with this fabulous sketch!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  I love that it is all about family, friends and food!  I used a Early Expresso card base for my card.  I used a variety of Fall patterned DSP that I found in my stash.  I backed each layer with Early Expresso to make it pop off the barn red background.  I used the SugarPea Designs Indian Summer stamp set.  The little raccoons, tepee and sentiment are all from this set.  I colored them with Copic Markers and cut them out with the matching dies.  Wink of Stella was added for shine.

  1. Really cute card! I agree thatmit is the most wonderful holiday! The tiny brown edge around your plaid pieces really adds a crispness --or something--that makes this card extra great!

  3. Your little indian brave racoons are adorable Claire - it's been rather chilly here in the UK this week definitely with no sign of an indian summer, more's the pity! The colours and patterns on your card are perfect for fall and Thanksgiving - I wish we celebrated that here too. A great card!

  4. Lovely, Claire! You are right about the Early Espresso backing making the papers pop. Your critters and teepee are so cute and as always, gorgeously coloured. Such a pretty card - it makes me wish we had a Thanksgiving Holiday.
