Wishing You A Spooktacular Halloween--SugarPea Designs and CMCC #94

October 21, 2015

SO excited to have a day to craft!  YIPPEE!!  It is gorgeous today in GA.  I should be outside, but I never have time to play along with challenges except for my Design Team work, so today is the day!

I love the colors at Colour Me...! Challenge this week.  I need a few more Halloween cards to finish my stash before mailing them out.  I also wanted to play along with SugarPea Designs "Anything Goes" Challenge.

I am crazy about this fabulous stamp set by SugarPea Designs--EEK-A-BOO!  It was just perfect for the background that I created using Distress inks.  I love the orange, pink and purple tones.  The can look so elegant, but also spooky.  Isn't it strange how that works?

After my background dried, I cut it using SugarPea Designs-Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I don't know how I craft before I bought these dies.  I have always loved zig zags and I think they make every card look better!  Then I stamped the spider webs with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  I stamped a few spiders and the sentiment in black Versa Fine ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.  I love the shine it adds to the card.  The ghost were stamped with Versa Fine ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I used Copic Markers-- RV04, YR07 and BV09 to color on the back of the ghost for their bow ties and banners.  I applied the ghost with glue dots.  A few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added for fun.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Please leave a comment.  I love to hear from you!

HUGS!
Claire
