I wanted to play along with Freshly Made Sketches this week.  I love this sketch and Jen is the hostess.  Stop by their blogs for lots of inspiration!

I like to make guy cards and decided to use the  Paper Smooches-My Guy stamp and die set to create a card for my son for Father's Day.  He loves to play golf and never gets to go often, so I thought he would enjoy this card.  

My base card is Whisper White cardstock(5 1/2 X 4 1/4).  I cut a "road" strip with the Mama Elephant-CityScapes Die using Basic Gray card stock.  Then I trimmed the Adventure Bound papers to fit the sketch.  I love this paper set.  I am sorry it is no longer available.  It makes such great masculine cards.  I stamped the golf cart twice.  Once on Whisper White and once on the blue paper.  I cut out the body of the cart to paper piece it on the white one.  I used Copic markers to color the rest of the image.  I added Wink of Stella to the clubs and wheels to add some shimmer.  

I stamped the sentiment using black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I added three Basic Gray Candy Dots at the top of the card.
