My card was created for one of my Granddaughter's Kindergarten teachers. I used one of my favorite stamp sets from SugarPea Designs-Teacher's Pet. I colored this adorable little bear with a variety of Copic Markers and fussy cut him. I love his happy little face!
My base card is Whisper White (5 1/2 x 4 1/4). The next layer is Real Red (5 1/4 x 4). I used my stitched rectangle dies to cut the school paper by October Afternoon. (Schoolhouse). I cut a smaller black rectangle with a smaller stitched die and stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I sponged a little white on the black paper to make it look like a chalkboard. I adhered the little bear with diminsionals and found these three buttons in my jar to add to the card. Black Baker's twine was tied in the buttons.
A matching envelope and and a special note of thanks was added along with a gift card! I am very thankful for all teachers do each day!
