You Are Amazingly Amazing --PP232

February 15, 2015

It's Sunday and time for another fun challenge at The Paper Players.  The amazingly talented Joanne is our hostess this week and she would like for us to make a project featuring our "Feathered Friends!"  I love this challenge and I know we will see some amazing projects this week!

The colors in the photo just jumped out at me and when I found Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper with these colors in my stash, I knew I wanted to pair it with the new stamp, "A Happy Thing" featured in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  (You can order from this catalog until March 31, 2015)

I fussy cut the bird and added Flower Soft on the branches.  I little Wink of Stells in the eye, made it have a little shine!

I left the inside blank in order to write a special not to someone!  I love personal notes, and wish it wasn't such a dying art.  It always means so much to receive one!

Oh, how this card makes me think of Spring time!  We are supposed to have some 'winter' like weather this week in Georgia.  So, warmer days sound very nice to me!

I hope you enjoyed my card.  Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I love to hear from you!

If you have any questions, please contact me at: Claire.

  4. Ooo Claire I just love this bird coloured to co-ordinate with these papers - so cheery and almost tropical! The flower soft adds a neat detail to the blooms and I love the multi-coloured sentiment. This card is meant for you my friend - you are amazingly amazing! Great job on my bird challenge this week!

  9. Gorgeous, Claire. I love how we used the same stamp and similar colors. Your coloring is gorgeous and I love the background DSP it really moves the eye up and down the page but doesn't detract from your beautiful popped up kingfisher.
