You Make Me Happy PP186

March 12, 2014

Not one of my better days.----  I have a horrible sinus infection and stomach virus. I spent the morning at the doctor, and then slept all afternoon.  I made this card yesterday and wanted to get it posted before the end of the challenge.

I love the colors in the Paper Players Color Challenge this week.  Marina Mist is such a beautiful shade of blue.  It isn't used often in cards that you see on Pinterest, etc.  The Crushed Curry is perfect with it!  I am learning to like Smokey Slate as my neutral color.  I hope you will enjoy my card.  I need a little sunshine today!   ENJOY!

Stampin' Up! Products:

Paper:  Marina Mist, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Marina Mist Designer Series Paper

Ink:  Crushed Curry, Marina Mist, Smokey Slate

Stamp Set: See Ya Later ---  Available until March 31,   FREE with $50.00 purchase during SALE-A-BRATION

Tools:  Stampin' Trimmer, Snail Adhesive, Big Shot Cutting Machine, Argyle Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, Stampin' Dimensionals

Embellishments:  White Twine, Marina Mist Button

I stamped the sentiment twice.  Once in Crushed Curry and once in Smokey Slate.  I used the fantastic paper snips from Stampin' Up! and fussy cut the HAPPY and the sun and popped them with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I think this makes the perfect masculine card, but I think a female would enjoy it, too!
Let me know your thoughts.  Please leave a comment and let me know.  I love to hear from you!

Hope to be back in my craft room tomorrow!
Until then!

Happy Stampin!
Claire
