ENJOY!!! CCMC294

March 16, 2014

It is POURING in Georgia today.  It has been raining so hard and I keep thinking what a great day for a nap!  I started this card last night for the Create With Connie and Mary Color Challenge.  I absolutely LOVE the colors together.  I am always a fan of greens and pinks together, but add in a touch of black.  It is the perfect combo for me.

I have never used clear embossing on black, but I really love the way it turned out.  It looks like the white flowers will blow off just like when you were a kid and blew dandelions.  Nothing like dandelions to let us know that Spring has arrived.
I also love the arrow embossing folder on the Core'dinations Paper to give more texture.  ENJOY!!!!!

  5. I don't ever think I have longed for the sight of dandelions as I have this (never ending) winter. So your card is a joyful reminder of what is to come. And butterflies too! I love how you used dry and heat embossing to make your card stand out. Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie and Mary.
