Friend To Friend CCMC287

January 28, 2014

Hello My Friends!  I can not begin to tell you how glad I am to be able to post today!  My knee replacement surgery on Jan. 14th went very well.  I am on the mend!!!  :)))  I started my physical therapy and I have weeks ahead of me, but I am ready to face the rehab.  I am trying to get back into my craft room.  I wanted to make a card for the Create With Connie and Mary Sketch Challenge.  It took me several hours to make my card because I just can't stand very long.  I would do one thing -- go sit down---go back and do one more thing---etc. until I finally finished my card.  I felt such a feeling of accomplishment when I completed the card and hope to be back in full swing very soon! ENJOY!!!!!

I know it looks like the bow does not match, but it is the lighting.  It is Crumb Cake and look great in person!  I am not the best photographer!  I am sorry!

I absolutely love your card... vintage, distressed, shabby, some of my fav retired things... it's calling my name! : ) We got snow last night here in OK City but it's all melted now! Keep up the beautiful cardmaking as you are able! Thanks for joining us this week for the sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!

  4. Go you, Claire!! You are an inspiration to be up and about and crafting so soon! Your card is sensational and so detailed! You maybe should have started with one of my easy CAS-type cards! I'm just kidding, you stick with your beautiful talent and style, but do take it easy! All the best with the PT so you'll be better than new in no time! Hugs, Darnell
