Give Thanks The Paper Players Challenge PP714

November 3, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Elizabeth is our hostess this week.  She has a timely Theme Challenge for all of us.  November is a time of gratitude, so let us see your ideas for being thankful!

I added a wood grained DSP to the background.  The Fall and green DSP were in my stash and I cut them to make the next layer.  I repeated the woodgrain in an oval shape to ground my little Pilgrim.  The Pilgrim girl is from Stampinbella.  The name of the stamp is Tiny Townie CASEY has a CORNUCOPIA.  I colored the image with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  A simple sentiment was added to complete my card.  I love the way this turned out.  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  It is all about family, friends, food and fun!

The World Needs Amore You The Paper Players Challenge PP 713 Sunday Stamps Challenge

 October 27, 2024

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps

The amazing Ann is our hostess this week at the Paper Players.  She has a fabulous sketch for all us.  It is perfect for any type of card.

The beautiful color combo at Sunday Stamps is perfect for your Fall cards.

My card is created using a variety of blue papers from SU.  The little girl and sentiment are from a SugarPea Designs stamp set.  The Parisian Stamp set is no longer available, but one I will keep in my stash.  I colored her with Copic Markers and fussy cut her to place on the black circle.  The city scape of Paris is from SugarPea Designs.  A few rhinestones were added around the sentiment.

Merry Christmas The Paper Players Challenge PP712

October 20, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us.  The theme is "Tag, You're It!"  So, get creative and have fun and remember to keep it CAS!

My card is created by embossing the panel for more texture.  The tag is created using a die.  I cut the tag two times.  I used Cherry Cobbler and this Christmas paper I found in my stash.  I added the red under the PP to make it look like it had a scalloped border.  The little reindeer is from Simon Says Stamp.  Holiday Ornament and Dies Set is such a fun set.  I colored the reindeer with Copic Markers.  I added Glossy Accents to his nose for shine.  Some white gel pen was added on his face.  Baker's Twine was added to the top of the tag.  CAS is hard for me.  I wanted to add more, but reigned it in.  LOL!
