Have A Groovy Day!--FMS 166

I can't believe another week has flown by.  It is two weeks until Christmas Day and I sure could use a few elves to help out around my house.  I have had so many events to attend that I have not had any time to make cards.  I finally found a few minutes and ran into my craft room to make a card for Freshly Made Sketches.  

Karren's sketch is so fabulous, but I knew I wanted to use an old stamp set by Unity Stamps, so I took the liberty and turned the sketch on its side.  I hope that works!  I think this stamp is retired, but I love it!  I was feeling "Groovy" when I was coloring!  

Glossy Accents added to the headlights and mirror, make the little van shine as it heads home for the holidays!  

I am so excited that I am going to be babysitting three of my GRANDS this weekend.  A 5, 2 and 4 month old won't leave much time for all my Christmas tasks, but spending special time with them is the best gift of all!

Coffee Time-Cofee Lovers Blog Hop

I am so excited to be a part of the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I LOVE coffee, so this is perfect for me!  A huge THANK YOU to Amy Tsuruta for organizing this fantastic event!  

I hosted 21 women at my home for a Tennis Luncheon and was scrambling to get my card made.  I used the Stamp Set and Papers that were part of the Simon Says October Card Kit.  I absolutely loved all the vibrant colors in the papers that were in the kit.  I added a few charcoal sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and Glossy Accents on the heart and steam.  I also added some Wink of Stella on the coffee.  Notice my coffee has lots of cream!  :))

I always decorate the inside of my card so, that it is ready to mail when I pull it out of my stash.  I left this blank in order to write a note to someone special!
