You're Tee-riffic-PP239

April 5, 2014

HAPPY EASTER to all!  Although I am not spending the day with family, I have so many wonderful memories of Easter from my own childhood and with my sons.  I miss those days!

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!  The lovely, Jaydee is our hostess this week and she wants us to use die cuts on our projects!

My card was created for my Uncle that turns 91 this week!  He has always been an avid golfer and I hope he will smile when he receives this special card!  I used a variety of dies, and I had fun creating this for him!

I started by using a sponge dauber and distress ink to create the sky on white card stock.  I used the Lawn Fawn border dies to create the hills and the "Homescape" die by SugarPea Designs for the house and trees.  The golf cart was stamped and die cut using Paper Smooches "My Guy" set.  I colored the golf cart with Copic Markers.  The clouds were die cut from Mama Elephant's "Stitched Sky" set and sponged on the edges.

You're A Gem--FMS 180 and Light It Up For Autism

April 3, 2015

I am honored today to be joining in the Light It Up Blue for Autism Awareness blog hop organized by the lovely Veronica Zallis and Tenia Nelson.  These inspirational ladies have got us all crafting to promote Autism Awareness and there are lots of fabulous crafters and sponsors involved :)

I am using the fantastic sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  Jen T. is the hostess this week and the Design Team always amazes me!  Make sure you stop by their blog for lots of inspiration!

My card is created using one of my favorite stamp sets by SugarPea Designs.
"Gopher It" is such a fun set.  How could you not smile if you received this little fellow in the mail?

I used a variety of Copic markers to color the gopher and the background.  Wink of Stella was added to the pick, gems and  light on his hat.  The Starburst  framelits were perfect for my background.  Night of Navy paper and candy dots were used with the striped paper from Doodlebug Designs.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I always love to hear from you!

Happy Easter to all!

Happy Mail-SPDSS23

April 2, 2015

I can't believe April has arrived!  Where does the time go?  I have not blogged in a few days and I am glad to be back at it!  I spent some time with my GRAND Daughter, Addison on Sunday and again on Tuesday for her 6th birthday.  It was special and fun and I can not believe how fast she is growing up!  Time needs to SLOW Down!!

My card today is for SugarPea Designs!  I love their stamp sets and I am playing along with their sketch challenge.

The "Happy Mail" stamp set is one of my favorites.  Every time I look at this little penguin, I smile!  I colored him with a variety of Copics and used a paper pack by Doddlebug Designs.  It is such a fun pack called "Kraft in Color-Kraft."  The card came together quickly after the coloring is complete.

Thank you very much for stopping by my blog.  I love to hear from you so, please leave a comment!  I cherish all of them.

Any questions on my card, contact me at: Claire.
