Post Card--Let's Go to the Beach--PP203

July 6, 2014

I am so excited to be a Guest Designer for the Paper Players!  It is a dream come true!! To be asked to be a  part of this FANTASTIC group is so amazing!!!!  Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity to share my love of paper crafting!!!

The theme this week is: "Let's Go To The Beach!"  I love the beach and I thought one day I would live there.  I don't think that is evervgoing to happen, but I can dream about it!  Walking on the beach gives me the most calming, tranquil feeling.

I have a very precious memory of my Mom and Dad.  When they would travel, they would always send me a post card.  So, when I was deciding what to use on my card, this wonderful image when through my mind.  I pulled out my post card stamp and went to work. I hope you enjoy my card!

You Did It--FMS 143

July 4, 2014

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!  I hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with family or friends!  I am so very thankful to live in America!

This is the first year in six years that we have not had a house full of family.  With two grand babies due in the next few weeks, everyone decided to stay home and not travel this weekend.  We will be spending the evening with dear friends.  I did want to share a picture of Miss Addison and Miss Victoria with all of you.  They are certainly two little "Firecrackers!"

My card for today is for Freshly Made Sketches.  It is a clean and simple sketch and I knew immediately which stamp I wanted to use for my card.  I hope you will enjoy my card.  I made it for a special little girl who is trying to learn to ride her bike.  And, what's more American than a bike?!?

God Bless You--PPA210

July 3, 2014

The  Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge featured:  Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Basic Gray this week.  I felt this called for a serene stamp.  I decided to go with "By the Tide."  I have been thinking about the beach a lot these past few days.  I could really use a "beach fix!"  I hope you enjoy my card!

I did add Crystal Effects to the Coral, but it is very difficult to photograph.  I hope you can see it.  It gives the card some shine.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.  I love to hear from you!

Have a great evening!

Happy Stampin'!
