Congrats Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC286

 June 26, 2022

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

I am the hostess and I have a fabulous sketch challenge for everyone to use this week!  Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created for a special young man.  I used a white card base and added a blue patterned paper on top.  I used the coordinating green dots to cut the rectangle strips.   The globe is created using the Gina K. Wonderful World stamp set. I think this set is retired.   I embossed the globe stand with gold embossing powder.  The world circle was heat embossed in white powder and then I sponged distress inks over the embossing.  I love the way the 3 colors blended.  The graduation cap is stamped in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder.  It is from the Gina K. For the Grad.  I fussy cut the cap.

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The lovely Joanne is our hostess this week!  She has a very fun Sketch Challenge for all of us!!   Have fun and we can't wait to see your creations!

My card is created for Victoria's 10th birthday!  The girl loves purple and sweets, so when I found this paper in my stash, I decided to create the layers with this fun mix of patterns!  The popsicles and sentiment are stamped in Melon Mambo and Pistachio Pudding SU inks.  The stamp set is from Reverse Confetti Let's Chill.  I think these stamps are retired now.  I couldn't find them on the Reverse Confetti site.  I added twine bows and a few green enamel dots to complete the card.

 June 23, 2022

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!  We hope you will play along with our new board.

My card is created using the top row  Coloring, Bright Colors and Scallops.

My card is created on a white card base.  I used a scalloped die I found in my stash and coral card stock to create the frame.  I cut the patterned paper with a rectangle die for the center.  I loved that the paper looked like waves at the beach.  The little girl is from MFT Pure Innocence.  It is a retired stamp set now.

Please stop by and see all the fabulous cards by the Design Team.  There is so much inspiration!

We hope you will play along with us this week!

Just Relax The Paper Players Challenge PP596

 June 19, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The lovely Jaydee is our hostess this week!  She has a very fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us--One Layer Cards!  Have fun and we can't wait to see your creations!

My card is created on a white card base.  I must admit, I was focused on the one layer card and missed the CAS part.  I stamped the seahorse from Lavinia-Sebastian the Seahorse in black ink.  Then, I stenciled different  shades of oxide distress inks from Tim Holtz--Prize Ribbon, Broken China, Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon to create the background.  I used a stencil I found in my stash for the waves and a Tim Holtz circle stencil for the bubbles.  The sentiment is from MFT PI Serenity stamp set.  I used white embossing powder on black card stock.

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

Look at the gorgeous color combo we have for you to use for creations!

Use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice.

My card is created for a special young lady.  I used a white card base and added a red/orange layer on top of the card.  I cut a scalloped layer in white using a die from my stash. A few sparkling sequins and some Wink of Stella was added for shine.

SO Berry Kind of You! The Paper Players Challenge PP595

 June 12, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

I am the hostess this week and I have a great color challenge for all of you!  It can be a patriotic project with July 4th coming in a few weeks, or you can stretch your imagination and try something different.  I think you will love all the amazing DT cards.

Nothing tastes better in June than juicy, fresh strawberries.  My card is created on a white card base.  I cut a Pacific Point polka layer using retired SU paper.  I added a Real Red rectangle that I embossed for texture.  The top white layer is cut using the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die.  The Strawberries are stamped in Real Red using the Concord & 9th Sweet Strawberries
stamp set.  I stamped the stems in Crumb Cake on watercolor paper for texture.  I figured since it was a neutral, I could add it to the combo.  The sentiment is from the same set and stamped in black ink.  A few sparkling clear sequins were added to complete my card.  I also added Wink of Stella to the berries for shine.

You Make Every Day Cooler Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc165

 June 9, 2022

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!  We hope you will play along with our new board!

I used the diagonal to complete my card:  Swimming/Pool, Embellishment, Circle
and Middle Row: Die Cut, Embellishment, Bright Colors.

My card is created on a white card base.  I used water color paper and smooshed distress inks and water to create the water.  I love the way it turned out.  I added droplets of water to form the splattered look.  The penguin is created using the stamp set Penguins in Paradise stamp set.  I colored him with Copic Markers and paper pieced the float with red and white polka dot paper.  I stamped the beach balls on the patterned paper and cut all of them out with the matching dies.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  A few sparkling sequins and wiggly eyes on the penguin compete the card.

Please stop by and see all the fabulous cards by the Design Team.  There is so much inspiration!

We hope you will play along with us this week!

Sweet as a Peach The Paper Players PP594

June 5, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The fabulous Anne Marie is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous Theme Challenge for all of us!  I love this idea and I can't wait to see what you create!  So many possibilities with this theme!

My card is created on a white card base.  I used patterned papers from the SU "You're A Peach" paper pack.  I fussy cut the peaches out of the patterned paper and used dimensionals  to adhere them to the card.  I cut a Calypso Coral square and stamped the sentiment in the same color using the SU stamp set, Sweet as a Peach.  A few sparkling clear sequins were added to complete my card.
