It's Your Birthday! Go Wild! Paper Players Challenge PP526

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

It's Tic Tac Toe Week and the Lovely Laurie is our hostess this week.  I love these boards because the variety of card is always amazing!  Have fun! 



My card is created using the first row:  Die-Cut, Animal and Scene. 


My card is created for a special little girl that loves giraffes and purple.  I used a white card base and added the purple sunrise using a cover panel.  I cut the same sunrise in orange and paper pieced the rays into the purple background.  (Sorry, I don't know where I got this die).  I also added an orange sunburst in the center.  The giraffe is created using the MFT Joyful Giraffe Die.  I added some Vintage Ink to shade the giraffe and a white gel pen for the dot in the eye.  I also added Wink of Stella for shine.  The sentiment is from the MFT Giraffe Greetings stamp set.  I think she will love her birthday card.

I Just Love You! Paper Players Challenge PP525 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC249

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

The amazing Joanne is the hostess at The Paper Players and she has a very fun sketch challenge for all of us!  The sketch is a simple one, but feel free to interpret the shapes any way you choose!  Oh, I just think that makes it so much fun! 

The Sunday Stamps Color Challenge is fabulous and it paired perfectly with the card I wanted to create!   I love this great color combo!  
 
Have fun and get creative with your projects!

My card is created on a Basic Gray background.  I added a Cherry Cobbler layer and cut it with a scalloped die.  The Very Vanilla panel was embossed with an embossing folder.  It reminded me of a warm winter sweater or scarf.  The little snowman was stamped using the Honey Bee Stamps Snow Buddies.  I just love this set and I see it is retiring.  That makes me sad because I just adore this stamp set.  I colored him with Copic Markers and added ear muffs and a scarf using the same stamp set and matching dies.  The sentiment is stamped in black.

Hey Sunshine! Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc097

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We hope you will play along with our new board! 



I used the top row to complete my card:  Flowers, Twine/Ribbon, Pink


My card is created on a white card base.  I added a hot pink layer cut with a scalloped die from Sugar Pea Designs.  I stamped the background using the  Sunflower Background by Simon Says Stamp.  I used black ink.  I added a twine bow and stamped the sentiment in black ink.  The sentiment is from a retired MFT Pure Innocence stamp set.

Sending a Flurry of Love Paper Players Challenge PP524

It's Sunday and you know what that means!

It is time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

I am the hostess this week and I have a fun CAS challenge for all of you!  The theme is "SNOW"!  We don't see much snow in Atlanta, so show me what you've got and I will dream about a snowy day!



CLEAN AND SIMPLE WEEK
MINIMAL LAYERS
LITTLE TO NO EMBELLISHMENTS

LOTS OF CLEAN WHITE SPACE (NO PATTERN)

Y'all know that CAS is difficult for me.  I love my layers and bling, so I reined it in and did my best.  I used this image a few weeks ago, but I just love this little girl.  She reminds me of growing up in Indiana where we had a lot of snow!!!!!  My card base is white and I used a scalloped die to cut another white layer.  I stamped this cutie using the MFT BB Best Wishes stamp set.  I colored her with Copic Markers.  I distressed the background and scalloped edge with "Salty Ocean" and stamped the snowflakes using a stamp from the set using the same distress ink.  I added Wink of Stella on her coat and hat for shine!  The sentiment is stamped in black using a stamp from the same set.

Hello Sunshine Paper Players Challenge PP523 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC248

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

The amazing Ann is the hostess at The Paper Players and she has a very fun color challenge for all of us!  

The Sunday Stamps sketch challenge is fabulous and it paired perfectly with the card I wanted to create!

My card is created on a white card base.  I stamped the Sunflower Background Stamp from Simon Says Stamp with black ink for my background.  The black is my neutral color.  Then I cut Blackberry Bliss, Bumblebee and Misty Moonlight frames using the MFT Elegant Rectangle Stax Dies.  I cut a white frame using the same dies and stamped the sunflower background on it.  I colored the flower with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is stamped in black using a retired MFT Pure Innocence Stamp set.  I added Wink of Stella on top of the Copic Marker for shine

Sending a Flurry of Love Paper Players Challenge PP522

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

May you be blessed with good health, happy moments and hopefully travels to new places!

The Lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she wants us to use something "NEW" on our project this week.  I am certain you have a stamp that needs to be inked, a new pad of paper, or something fun to share with us!  HAVE FUN! 





My card is created on a white card base.  I used Distress Inks to create the background on watercolor paper.  The Drifting Dies from The Greetery were used to create the snow drifts at the bottom.  The little girl is from MFT BB Warmest Wishes.  I colored her with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  The sentiment is heat embossed in white.  It is from the same stamp set.  The snowflakes are cut using an MFT die.  I added rhinestones in the middle of each snowflake.
