A Little Message to Say LOVE Paper Players Challenge PP576

 Jan. 30, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

It is so cold in Atlanta.  I hope you are staying warm!

The "Amazing"  Joanne is our hostess this week.  It is the 5th week of the month so, you know what that means.  It's Tic Tac Toe time!!  Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create.

My card is created using the right column:  Die Cut, Birthday, Stencil.

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut a white panel and embossed it with a textured embossing folder.  Then I used the Bold Love--Small Die of the month from Jan. 2020 by Spell Binders.  I cut it twice to get the gold glitter letters, flowers and hearts to complete the card.  The little message was stamped with Versa Mark and heat embossed using gold embossing powder.

Instead of Texting Paper Players Challenge PP575 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC275

     Jan. 23, 2022

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps

The amazing Jaydee is our hostess at The Paper Players.  She has a fabulous sketch challenge for all of us.

Sunday Stamps has a fun color challenge this week.   I love when I can combine two challenges!

We can't wait to see what you create!  Have fun!

Use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice.

My Valentine is created for my granddaughter Addison.  She will be 13 next month and all she wants to do is play on the phone.  LOL!  I think this will make her smile.

I found this Valentine paper in my stash.  I trimmed the two patterns and layered them on top of a black background to match the sketch.  I cut a black heart with the SU heart dies.  The roses stamp is from Hero Arts.  (I could not find the set on the Hero Arts page.  I know it was a Valentine kit from several years ago.)   Addison loves roses because Belle loved roses in Beauty and the Beast.  I stamped the heart in red and used a Wink of Stella pen to add shine and it picked up the red ink and made some of the roses look pink.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn Love Letters stamp set.  The inside sentiment reads "I made this card".  I trimmed the white card stock to look like a banner.  I added a few pearls to complete my card.

Let It Snow Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc145

     Jan.20,2022

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!  We hope you will play along with our new board!

My card is created using the both diagonals: Snowman/Snowgirl/ Embossing/ Bird and Coloring, Embossing, Die Cut.

I used a lot of dies to create this card.  I embossed the background with a snow embossing folder.  I cut the Aspen trees with dies.  I am not sure where I bought them.  The snowdrifts were cut using a die and I used distress ink on the edge for more dimension.  The Snow Buddies stamps and dies are from Honey Bee Stamps.  I believe these are retired but, I will keep these in my stash.  They make me smile!  I used Copic Markers to color the accessories.  I didn't think a sentiment was needed on the front.

Please stop by and see all the fabulous cards by the Design Team.  There is so much inspiration!

We hope you will play along with us this week!

I Just Love You! The Paper Players PP574

     Jan. 14, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

I am the hostess this week and I have a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of you!  Winter Animals are all around so, it is their turn to shine.  We can't wait to see what you create!  Just remember CAS is the challenge for this week.

I created a background using Distress ink and added white splatters of ink to look like snow.  I cut a white panel using the MFT Stitched Scallop Basic Edges to cut the white panel.  The I cut a circle out of the white panel and created a white frame by doubling the circle dies.  My little penguin is SSS, the stamp set is retire now.  I colored him with Copic Markers.  I punched hearts using a SU punch for the accents.  The sentiment is stamped in black.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I hope your holiday season was filled with special moments!!  Wishing you happiness, good health and love in the New Year!

    •

My card is created on a white card base.  I covered the top of the card with SU Night of Navy card stock.  The next layer is gold that I embossed with an  embossing folder that makes texture.  It is from SU, but I don't know the name.  I rounded the corners with a corner rounder.  I added a strip of vellum on top of the gold and rounded the corners on it, too.  The die for the sentiment is from the SU Floral Gallery die set.  I cut the words twice.  Once with Night of Navy and once with gold foil.  The Happy Birthday stamp set is from the Art Gallery set by SU.  The die is from the SU Floral Gallery set, too.  I stamped the flowers in Daffodil Delight and Hello Honey ink.  I stamped the leaves with green ink and then fussy cut the flowers and glued them on top of the leaves.  Gold sequins were added to complete my card.
