You Are Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice--#tttc026

November 30, 2017

I can't believe November is over.  WOW!  This year has flown by.  Now, we are on to the mad rush of the holidays.

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We have a fantastic board for all of you!

We would love for you to take some inspiration from the challenge board above, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what we challenge you to create! Don’t forget to link back to us, and to use our hashtags #tictactoechallenge and
#tttc026

My card is created using the top row: pumpkin, beverage, chevron.  It is still Fall and I sure do enjoy those pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks!

My card is created on a white card base.  The background paper is from The Stamps of Life Happiness Collection paper pack.  The coffee cup is from Stampin' Up! Merry Cafe stamp set.  I fussy cut the cup.  I stamped it on chevron paper from the same paper pack.  I colored the top of the cup with Copic Markers.  The little fox is from SugarPea Designs Fall Fox stamp set.  I colored him with Copic Markers and used the matching dies to cut it out.  The sentiment was stamped from the same stamp set in brown ink.  I also sponged the edges of the sentiment and added it to the cup.  Wink of Stella was added for shine.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, please pop over and see more inspiration from the rest of the Tic Tac Toe design team and I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week!

Dashing Through the Snow--PP #372

November 26, 2017

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

Our lovely Joanne is the hostess this week!  She has a super fun sketch for all of us!  I love sketches!  I always have so many ideas running around in my head.

Feel free to alter the shapes and where you position your sentiment. As long as the main elements can be seen, how you interpret the sketch is up to you.

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a background of a snowy patterned paper from my stash.  I trimmed it with a stitched rectangle die.  The white strip is made with white card stock and embossed with an embossing folder.  The little car and sentiment are from Avery Elle Dashing Clear stamp set.  I fussy cut the image and adhered it with stamping dimensionals.  The snowflake is cut with white glossy paper.  I used the Let It Snowflake Too dies from Simon Says Stamp.  I added a rhinestone in the center and a few more around for shine and on the tree.  The sentiment is stamped in black Memento ink.  I added red and white Baker's Twine.

May Your Days Be Merry and Bright-- Simply Sweet Christmas Inspiration Hop

November 25, 2017

The FABULOUS  Lesley Croghan from Always Playing With Paper  invited us to participate in an inspiration blog hop focusing on LAST MINUTE SIMPLE YET SWEET Christmas cards or tags!  So,if you are looking for some inspiration for those last minute Christmas cards, you have come to the right place!  So hop along and be sure to visit each blog. There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

I have never been one to mass produce Christmas cards.  I always like each one to be an original, but that just isn't the case this year.  I don't know why I am so far behind on my stash, but when Lesley asked me to be a part of this blog, I was thrilled.

All of my cards are created on a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 card bases.  I went through my stash and pulled out a few pieces of patterned paper that I had on my table top.  I cut each one using a retired MFT scalloped border die.  I stamped the sentiment using W Plus 9 Be Merry stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment 6 times in different colors of ink to match the backgrounds I chose.  I cut the sentiment out using the matching die.  I adhered the sentiment to each background using dimensionals.  I stamped a variety of retro light bulbs using the Reverse Confetti Merry & Bright stamp set.  I cut them out with the matching die.  I adhered two to each card and colored the tops with Copic Markers C1 and C3.  I added Wink of Stella to the bulbs and a twine bow at the top of each one.

This was so easy and fun and I love the results.  I think I will make a few more.  Each one looks unique and fun because of the variety of papers.

Our magnificent Nance is the hostess this week and she has a lovely color challenge for all of us.  I love white on white cards.  I needed a wedding card, but there are so many possibilities for this challenge.  So, get creative and have fun!

Grateful- CTS #247

November 10, 2017

I am playing along with the CASE This Sketch Challenge today.  I think CAS are the most difficult cards to make.  I love layers, bling and lots of stuff, so, I had a hard time not adding more to my card.  LOL!

I have had soooo much fun creating backgrounds with alcohol inks the past few weeks.  This was just laying on my desk and I thought it was perfect for my card.  I cut the half circle and the "grateful" from that sheet.  The card is Crumb Cake card stock with an Early Expresso background.  The rectangles are the same colors.  This card was so easy!  Hope you love that marbled look!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Have a lovely weekend!
