Merry Christmas The Paper Players Challenge PP810

November 1 2026

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.   Can you believe it is November!?!

I am the hostess this week and my theme is PLAID!  I love plaid and I thought it would be fun to create projects with horizontal and vertical bands or stripes crossing each other to create crisscross or checkered designs.  We always see lots of plaid in clothing and in decorating.  A few types of plaid could be buffalo, gingham, tartan, windowpane and Glen plaid. I can't wait to see what you create!   Have fun!

I really need to get started on my Christmas cards so,  I dug through my holiday paper stash and found this fabulous plaid.  I used it for my background.  I used The Greetery Big Beautiful Bow Die to create the ribbon and bow.  I used two shades of green card stock.  Then I created the mistletoe and holly greenery using the stamps and dies Budding Beauties Winter from The Greetery.  This is a beautiful set if you need winter greenery for your cards.  I had this little tag die and added a sentiment and white twine to complete my card.

Frosty Wishes Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC398

 November 1, 2026

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps.

The fabulous Lisa created this fun sketch for all of us.  It is a keeper and can be used for any type of card. Hope you will join us!

While I was digging through my paper stash I found this fun green plaid and decided it would make a great background.  This little snowman is from Hero Arts.   The stamps set is called Frosty Wishes, but I do not think it is available now.  I think he is a cute snowman and easy to use so, I will keep him in my stash.  The sentiment is stamped in black ink and from the same set.  My three banners are cut using a die and I embossed the two black ones with a snowy embossing folder.  I added black enamel dots, but now that I look at him, I think I will go back and add a few snowflakes.
