Let's Celebrate Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC325

December 24, 2023

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

For the last challenge of the year, we have a very festive color challenge for all of you!  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a back panel and a red panel cut with a wonky die.  The light gray window pane was cut with a die.  The little girl is from a Stampingbella set called Celebrating Squidgy.  I think it is retired now.  I heated embossed it in gold embossing powder and then I colored her with Copic Markers.  I added Wink of Stella for shine.  I fussy cut her and adhered her with pop up dots.  A few gold metal dots were added for fun!

Thank You Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC324

December 10, 2023

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

Deb created this fabulous Sketch Challenge for all of us.  This sketch is so versatile and there are so many ways you can use it.  Have fun!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added two shades of turquoise panels for my background.  I used the Catherine Pooler Snowflake Mini Cover Plate for the center element.  I cut it twice with white and a shade of turquoise.  I pieced the sentiment and snowflake pieces back in the base.  I added three small snowflakes for the side elements on the sketch.  Silver dots were added for fun and shine to complete my card.

For You The Paper Players Challenge PP670

 December 10, 2023

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

I am the hostess this week and I have a very fun and vibrant Color Challenge for all of you!  If you know me, you know I love bright colors.  Red is my favorite, so I had to add it in my palette.  So many possibilities with these colors!  Have fun and get creative!

I love polka dots, too so, I started with a polka dot background from my stash.  I used the Big Beautiful Bow Die from The Greetery to create the bow and the ribbon in Tahitian Tide.  The poinsettia, gift tag and foliage sprigs were cut in Real Red and Melon Mambo using Spellbinders Petite Blooms and Sentiments Dies.  I added a black and white twine bow to connect the gift tag.

Ho! Ho! Ho! The Paper Players Challenge

December 3, 2023

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has such a timely Theme Challenge for all of us!  It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.  Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create.

If you follow me, you know I love red.  So, I decided to design my card with all red.  I love the way it turned out.  I found the candy cane paper in my stash and the back side was the stripe.  I added a Real Red layer first and then added the DSP.  The red border was cut with a zig zag die.  The Santa is from an old Tim Holtz set called Santa Christmas.  I have had this set for years.  I added the Ho Ho Ho sentiment in red ink.  It is from the same stamp set.  I also added red enamel dots.  I sponged red ink around the white panel, too.
