The top layer is Neenah Solar white cut with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die from My Favorite Things.  The raindrops are stenciled with Stormy Sky distress ink using a dauber.  The little dogs from Sunny Studio-Rain or Shine are stamped on Neenah Solar White paper using Momento Black ink.  They are colored with a variety of Copic Markers. I cut these adorable dogs using the matching die Rain or Shine by Sunny Studio.  Glossy accents were added to their boots for lots of shine.  A white gel pen is used for their eyes.  A black gel pen is used on the buttons.  Lots of Wink of Stella is added to their coats and hats and the raindrops for shine.  The sentiment is stamped in black Versa Fine Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I used dimensionals to adhere the dogs on the panel.

My top layer is cut using the Wonky Borders  from Avery Elle.  The rainbow of paint stripes was created using WPlus 9 Ink Splats.  I used my Misti and lots of different colors of Distress inks to create the stripes.  Then, I rubbed different shades of reds, pinks and oranges on a strip of white and used the die "Create" from Simon Says Stamp.  I cut it four times in black to add dimension behind the top layer. The sentiment "A Little Bit of Sunshine" from Simon Says Stamp was stamped in Momento black ink.  Wink of Stella was added to the "create" die cut to add lots of shine.

Thank you very much for stopping by my blog today!  I love to hear from you, so please leave a comment!

Have A Wonderful Day--Sparkle & Shine Challenge

April 15, 2016

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkle & Shine!

We have a fabulous inspiration photo for you!  You can create in any way you like as long as we can see the inspiration in your design.

For this challenge, we are sponsored by the amazing online store Right at Home!  The winner of our challenge with received a $15 gift card to her store!

My base card is white.  The next layer is Perfect Plum. The top layer is cut with a stitched rectangle die on white card stock.  A stencil is used to create the patterns using a sponge dauber and two distress ink.  The vellum strip is stamped with the sentiment using Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  The flowers are stamped with Perfect Plum ink and each layer attached with dimensionals.  The stamp set and dies are retired from Stampin' Up!  The set is a favorite of mine that I will always keep it in my stash.  It is called "Secret Garden."  A gold foil flower is punched using a  retired Stampin' Up punch called  Boho Blossoms.  The black circle is punched and a pearl added for sparkle.  Lots of Wink of Stella is applied to each flower layer for shine.

So happy you stopped by my blog today!  Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts!

I hope you are able to join us in this challenge. Check out all of the beautiful cards from the design team on the blog here!
