Christmas Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC298

December 11, 2022

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

We have a fabulous sketch challenge for all of you!

The amazing Heidi created this sketch!

I added a piece of Cherry Cobbler for the base.  I heat embossed the image from SSS Festive Flowers in gold powder  using Versa Mark Ink.  I colored the image with Copic Markers.  I also edged the sides of the panel in Versa Mark and heat embossed the edges in gold, too.  I added a Christmas sentiment using a die and stacked the green Christmas -3 times for dimension.  I added gold sequins to complete the card.

Merry Christmas The Paper Players Challenge PP620

 December 4, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

LeAnne is the hostess this week and she has a very fun Theme Challenge for all of us!  I love Santa and there are so many Santa stamps out there.  I can't wait to see all the fun creations this week!

I added a red panel to the top of a white card base.  Then I used a piece of patterned paper for the next layer and distressed it on the edges with a distress tool.  I added Frayed Burlap ink with a sponge to the edges of all the layers.  I then used a coordinating strip and polka dot to make the rectangle layers.  A piece of Crisp Khaki was added to the top layer.  The Santa is stamped in red ink using a Tim Holtz Christmas Memories stamp set.  I also added distress ink around him to make him look antiqued.  I used the matching dies to cut him out.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I also added the holly stamps around the edges from this set, too!  The twine was added around the card and to make the bow.
