Happy Valentine's Day The Paper Players Challenge PP625

January 29, 2023

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players

The amazing Joanne is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous sketch challenge for all of us.  This is a great sketch with so many possibilities and we can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut a heart frame using a cover plate I found in my stash.  I searched and searched but, I can not find who made it.  So sorry!  I added a piece of Valentine DSP behind it.  I stamped the sentiment in black and cut the two arrow with a die using black paper.  I added Wink of Stella on the hearts for shine.

We Belong Together The Paper Players PP 624 and Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC301

 January 22, 2023

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps

The Amazing Jaydee is our hostess and she has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us!  The theme is happy "BIRD DAY" We can't wait to see what you create.

The fabulous Color Challenge at Sunday Stamps  is perfect for the season!  So many possibilities with this one!  Have Fun!

My card is created for our 23rd Anniversary!  I added a blue background to a white card base.  The top layer of white was cut using a Wonky Die by Avery Elle. I sponged some blue ink to the background.  The toucans and leaves are from Clearly Besotted Some Birdie Loves You stamp set.  I used the matching dies to cut out all the pieces.  I colored them with Copic Markers to match the color challenge.  I added three black enamel dots to complete my card.

You Color My World The Paper Players Challenge PP623

 Jan. 15, 2023

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

I am the hostess this week and I selected a beautiful color palette for all of you!  Do you think I might be thinking about warmer weather?  I am not a fan of winter and it is chilly in Atlanta this week!  So, let's get creative and see how many ways we can  use these FUN colors!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a scalloped Orchid Oasis panel and then a white scalloped panel.  I sponged some Orchid Oasis ink on the white panel.  The paint brush was cut using the Spellbinders Artful Tulips die set.  I used the Parakeet Party for the leaves and the Highland Heather for the tulips and accents on the paintbrush.  I sponged around all the pieces to add dimension.  The sentiment is from a MFT Pure Innocence stamps set-You Color My World.  Green enamel dots were added to complete my card.

Let's Party & CELEBRATE The Paper Players Challenge PP662 and Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC300

January 8, 2023

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!  I hope your year is off to a great start.  I am still working on getting all my Christmas put away and organizing things in my house.  Always such a job after the holidays!

Lots of changes at The Paper Players this week.  We welcome three new Guest Designers to the team.  Fran Wing, Tara Carpenter and Suzy Hinton are on board to add to our amazing team!  We know you will love their creations as much as we do!  We will sure miss Cindy Beach, Christy Stanford and Jennie Maier and hope they will continue to play along with us!

Welcome back to Sunday Stamps! A big thank you to everyone who played along with our color challenge. This week we have a fun sketch for you along with a bonus theme. This week marks our 300th challenge and as a way to celebrate this milestone we'd love to see folks create a card with a celebration theme!
The Sunday Stamps team would like to thank everyone who has played along with us over the years, we wouldn't still be here with our sketch and color challenges if it weren't for all of you!
We can't wait to see the fabulous projects that everyone comes up with!

Sketch by Claire

My card is created with a special friend in mind.  I used the sketch I created for the Sunday Stamps challenge and combined it with The Paper Players challenge.  I used some beautiful Spring like papers for my card.  Now that the holidays are over, I am ready for Spring.  I am not a fan of Winter.  I thought these little birds were so happy.  I created a tag for my sentiment.  It can be removed from the card and used for a book mark.  I sponged the tag with blue ink and used a sentiment from one of the first stamp sets I ever purchased. It is OLD!   White twine was added for the top of the tag and to create a bow.  I added a few enamel dots for fun.
