The Amazing LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous sketch challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see all of your creations!  The sketch is so versatile that anything goes!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a piece of light blue card stock for a background.  I have a pack of papers that are beach themed.  I choose the beach balls for the next layer.  I added a strip of bathing suits for the rectangle element in the sketch.  The blue and white layers were repeated for the sentiment.  I used an old SSS stamp for the sentiment.  I cut a sun with a die.  I added 3D tape to make the sun pop up!  Three pink enamel dots were added to complete my card.

When You Think About Quitting The Paper Players PP641

May 21,2023

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players

The amazing Joanne is our hostess this week and she has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us!  She wants us to use ONE of Something!  What a clever idea.  Just remember to keep it CAS!

My card is created on a white card base.  I covered the panel with a piece of Stampin Up Sweet Sorbet DSP.  I added a panel of white that I scored and cut the corners with a punch to round them.  The little weight lifter is from a retired Simon Says Stamp called Work Out and I cut her out using the Exercise Girls Die set.  I colored her with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is stamped in black using the same stamp set.  I added a few shiny gold stars to complete my card.

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players

The amazing Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a beautiful color combo for all of us!  We can't wait to see all your fabulous creations with these fun colors!

I have exciting news.  My tennis team made it to the city play offs!  So, I needed a special card for my captain.  I started with a white card base.  I added a piece of black and white polka dots to the background.  The rays were cut using the Trinity Stamps Center Burst Die Set.  I used silver metallic paper for the rays.  The little tennis girl is a new stamp from Stampinbella called Curvy Girl Plays Tennis.  I colored her with Copic Markers and then I fussy cut her.  I added dimensionals on the back to make her pop up.  I cut out the Congrats with a word die three times, once with black and twice with hot pink paper and adhered them together to create a shadow.  I love how it turned out.

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

We have a fabulous Color Challenge for all of you.

Have fun with this amazing, vibrant color palette!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a piece of blue paper for the background.  I used a die to cut the white panel.  I stamped the light bulb, flower and sentiment using Concord and 9th "Shine Brighter" Stamp set.  I think it is a retired set, but I will keep it in my stash.  I colored the flower, leaves and water with Copic Markers.  I added a few enamel dots to complete my card.  Wink of Stella on the flower made it shiny!

Make A Splash! The Paper Players Challenge PP639

 May 7, 2023

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players

I am happy to be the hostess this week and I have a very fun Theme Challenge for all of you!  "April Showers Bring May Flowers", but feel free to get creative with your ideas.  It doesn't have to be about flowers.  Bring on the Rainy Day ideas! We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a blue background.  I used watercolor paper to sponge the background for my little cutie.  I used the Simon Says Stamp set called Abby's Spring Showers.  It is retired now, but I think you can find this set on Etsy or Ebay.  It has matching dies, too!  I stamped the raindrops in blue and created the puddles by sponging the gray.  I colored Abby and the bunny with Copic Markers.  The umbrella was paper pieced with a scrap of plaid paper.  The sentiment is from this same set.  I used a circle die and sponged the edges.  A few enamel dots and Wink of Stella was added for shine!
