It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!
Our lovely Jaydee is the hostess this week and she has a fabulous Tic-Tac-Toe board for all of us. I love these boards because of all the possibilities. Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create.
Unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card. I decided to play on the diagonal silver/gold-die-cut/punch/ fall. I created an alcohol ink background and then cut out the leaves using the Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves dies. My card base is white. I cut a scalloped background from gold foil. I splattered the white stitched layer with gold ink. The leaves were added with dimensionals. A few sequins were added for sparkle. The gold sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp "Praying for you". The picture is not great with the shine--sorry!

My sweet Oliver turned one this week. He is here visiting from Indiana for a few days! I am loving every minute of their visit.
Have a great week!
So sorry that you needed a sympathy card, Claire but this one is gorgeous. The swirls on your inked leaves are so pretty. The gold elements lend an elegant touch just perfect for the sentiment. I know you are making great memories with your family this weekend--happy birthday sweet Oliver!ReplyDelete
