Because It's Too Early For Wine--PP #354

July 23, 2017

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The fabulous Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has an amazing sketch for all of us.  I had so many ideas, so I know that I will use this sketch again!  Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white card base.  I used a stencil and some distress inks to create my background.  I adhered a black rectangle and a lime rectangle on top of my stenciled background.  The sentiment is stamped in black and is from SugarPea Designs
The Perfect Blend stamp set.  The cups are stamped in black using the Caffeine Addict stamp set and Coffee To Go Dies by SugarPea Designs.  Two pieces of summer DSP were added on the coffee cups.  Buttons with white twine thread were added for fun!  A bright and summery card to brighten a friend's day!

Don't forget to check out the fabulous inspirations from our design team and I hope that you will play along with our challenge this week.

  1. Claire, I love the colors and that sentiment is perfect :-) I also love the mixture of the papers and the stenciling you used on the background. The little black strip makes all those wonderful colors pop. Thank you for rocking my sketch this week
