You've Got the Write Stuff--FMS 195

Today's card is for Freshly Made Sketches.  Kim has a fabulous sketch to play along with.  I knew just what I wanted to do when I saw it.  Miss Addison starts First Grade on Aug. 3rd.  I wanted to have a card for her teacher.  First Grade is so dear to me.  I taught first graders for 20 of my 27 years.  I know how demanding it is and I have so much respect for what teacher do!

My card is created using the SugarPea Designs-Teacher's Pet stamp set.  I stamped two pencils on white card stock and colored them with Copic Markers.  I fussy cut them and set them aside.  I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark ink on black card stock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I cut it out using the Avery Elle-Die Dotted -Elle-Ments.  I used a dauber and white ink to create a chalk board look. 

I used the Doodlebug Designs-Back to School collection for all the designer paper.  My card base is white and a black card front was cut using Avery Elle-Wonky Stitches Elle-ments.  Stitched circle dies were used to create the Real Red circle frames and designer paper was used for the inner circles.  Enamel Dots were added for fun and Wink of Stella was added on the pencils for a little shine.
