It's Sunday and time for another challenge at The Paper Players! This week our lovely, Joanne has a color challenge for us! We can't wait to see what you create!
Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding are 3 of the 5 colors that will be retired by Stampin' Up! by June 2nd. If you are interested in any of the 2013-2015 Colors, please hurry over to my store site to order them before they are sold out. I personally adore all 5 of the colors and will miss them when they are gone!
I absolutely LOVE monograms! I am so excited about the new stamp set, "Sophisticated Serifs" in the Occasions catalog. I think it is fabulous to make note cards for gifts or just to personalize your own notes. I also used "Daydream Medallions" to make my background paper. I stamped the different sizes of medallions with all three colors. I used my Granddaughter Addison's monogram for this card. The base card is white and I used a Strawberry Slush panel under the stamped piece. Stampin' Dimensionals raise the monogram for dimension. There are so many possibilities with this color combo. A few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh complete my card. I lined an envelope with the Pistachio Pudding Background Designer Series Paper from the 2013-2015 Collection.
Thank you for taking time to stop by my blog. Please leave a message and let me know your thoughts. I always love to hear from you!

What a great customized card, Claire! What a terrific gift a set of them would make. Love how you stamped your background paper too, just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove this, Claire! Monograms are always in style and I love how you created the beautiful background. You have inspired me to use that stamp set. SO pretty, my friend! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous background for your monograms! Very pretty card, Claire!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of the challenge colors! This is such a fabulous monogram card and I just love your background.
ReplyDeleteClaire, you took the one stamp set that I have been able to resist and made me want it! Wouldn't this be great wedding or graduation gifts? I love your stamped background, such aunique use of daydream medallions.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card! I'm always at a lose as to how to use the Daydream Medallions, your card uses them so cleverly!! And I LOVE your lined envelope ;)
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job with this monogram, Claire! Beautiful way to use these colors!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Shannon, I too, am at a loss with the medallion stamp set but you've made it shine with this background. What a sophisticated card for your young ladies! Great use of the colors!
ReplyDeleteI love monograms too Claire - so classic and I love how you customised this one! The background is fab - I don't own Daydream Medallions because I could never see a use for it (clearly a theme going on here!), yet you've used it to turn some plain Whisper White into something rather special! Thanks for rocking my colour challenge this week!
