Sorry You're Feeling Down--PP235

March 8, 2015

It's Sunday and time for another challenge at The Paper Players!
This week the lovely Anne Marie has a fabulous color challenge for us to play along with!  The colors are so Springy and we can't wait to see what you create!

My card features the Kinda Eclectic stamp set by Stampin' Up and the Fancy Feathers stamp and die set by Clearly Besotted.  Crumb Cake was used for the base card and Natural White was used for the top layer.  I love the way the flecks of color show through this paper.  I used So Saffron and Crumb Cake inks to create the sun.  Crisp Cantaloupe and So Saffron were double stamped on the feathers to make them have dimension.  It is difficult to see in the picture.

I added Linen Thread to the top of the feathers.  I love this sentiment and I think this card would brighten someone's day when they need a pick me up!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I am always happy to hear from you, so please leave a comment!

  2. So pretty! Thanks for the reminder to bring out my Natural White cardstock. I forget about it and should definitely be using it a lot more. I love how you double-stamped for more dimension so will have to try that as well. Wonderfully creative use of the color challenge!
