It is gorgeous today and I want to get outside for a while. The rain is supposed to be back by tomorrow, so I don't want to miss out on this beautiful, sunny afternoon.
My card today is for the 200th Challenge by The Friday Mashup! How fantastic is that!
This is one of my favorite challenges to play along with. A huge shout out to Holly and all her Design Team members! The sponsors for this challenge are amazing! WOW! I love all these sites, so, stop by and check out all the blog candy!
This week the Design Team wants us to create a project using two of the design challenges from the past. I sure enjoyed going back through the past challenges. I chose:
I couldn't resist number 11 because I LOVE summer and polka dots. The sketch was perfect for the card I had in mind. When you first glance at my card, you might think it is not a birthday card. But, at my age, "Keep Cool" is perfect for another birthday. The inside makes it fit the challenge.
Bermuda Bay is one of my favorite colors. My base card is White and the Bermuda Bay is amazing on the white. My yellow polka dot bikini makes me sing that crazy song as I created this card. Even though I could never wear this suit, it makes me think of younger days, when I could. I am all about being in the sun, so I had fun with this shaker card.
Pretty Pink Posh sequins were used inside the frame. I really love the small sequins and larger ones together.
The inside sentiment and finished envelope make the card ready to sign and send off to a special recipient. Just waiting on warmer days to arrive. There are so many summer birthdays, so this will come in handy soon.
Thanks for stopping by today! I love to hear from you, so please leave a comment.
