Sending Love & Sympathy--#SSINKCC17

 Sorry, I have not posted for a few days!! I had to take a few days off to rest.  I fell off a ladder last Saturday while taking down my Christmas tree and got a concussion.  It was not a pretty site---I am still a little queasy and trying to get myself back to what passes for normal!  I am so mad at myself for doing that!  It certainly messed up my plans for completing my resolutions!  Oh well, I am very thankful I did not break any bones.   

 While I was surfing online, I found a new challenge to enter.  It is Stylin' Stampin' Inkspration.  I love this color combination, so I thought I would play along.  Check out the website and see all the talented Design Team's fabulous creations!  


Unfortunately, I needed a special sympathy card for a friend that lost her husband unexpectedly on Christmas Eve.  I have been very sad and it was difficult to make this card.  


 I love the way the sponged paper turned out.  I used a sponge and all three challenge colors to create the background paper.

I think the inside sentiment is perfect to express my feelings!

    This is a beautiful card, Claire! So sad that it's for a friend's loss though. Hopefully you will be able to bring her a small amount of comfort with your lovely card and words.
