Sunflower Sympathy

Just returned from a weekend visit in Indiana.  We celebrated my Mom's 85th birthday.  It was wonderful to spend time with my family!  We ate way too much and laughed a lot!!!  I got to catch up with a friend from elementary school and visit a special friend that is going through chemo.  The weather was invigorating and the memories are priceless.

When I returned home, I found out that a dear friend's mom passed away.  It is always difficult to learn such sad news and wish you could do something to comfort them.  
The first thing on my list was to create a meaningful card for her.

I am also submitting this to the Mojo Monday challenge.  I am always inspired by their creative drawings!  I certainly needed the Mojo today.:))))  I also found the Curtain Call challenge and it was perfect for the card I had in mind.  The ABC45 Fall challenge this week is a Fall card, too.

I absolutely LOVE sunflowers!  I hope this card will bring comfort to my friend!
