It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.
The amazing Elizabeth has a fun color challenge for all of us. It screamed Halloween to me, but you can create any type of card with these colors. So get creative and have fun!
I found this purple cobweb paper in my stash and added it on a black card base. I used water color paper and distress inks to created the martini drink and olives. The dies to cut out all of these pieces are from Spellbinders. Olive Martinis Sketch Dies and Boos Cocktails Etched Dies were combined. It is time consuming to cut all the pieces, but I think it is so worth the effort. My Martini loving friend, Pam will love this card. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set that I kept in my stash.

Oh my gosh, Claire! What a FUN card! You can't beat a punny sentiment, and this one is one of the best ever! The cobweb paper is a perfect backdrop for the martini with eyeball olive. It doesn't get any better than this card for a Halloween loving adult. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun card, Claire, I love the extra "slime" on the edge of the martini glass! That purple cobwebby paper is a great backdrop for the XL martini and skelly hand. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is one fabulous Halloween card, Claire!! I LOVE the eyeball olive and the skeleton skulls decorating the bottom of the glass! The sentiment is the best too! You totally rocked this challenge, my Halloween loving friend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a hoot! I love this sophisticated martini! And as for that eyeball instead of an olive with a bat - marvellous! Thank you for a Monday morning smile!!
