Ho, Ho, Ho The Paper Players Challenge PP716

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

Our Queen of Clean and Simple, Jaydee is our hostess this week.  She has a very timely theme for us.  "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" is perfect for the season.  So, grab your crafty items and get creative.  Just remember to keep it CAS!!  




My card is created using an embossing folder to create the back panel.  The Santa is from Picket Fences stamps.  It is called Santa Claus Comes Tonight.  I colored him with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  I fussy cut him and attached him to the panel.  The sentiment is from a stamp set in my stash.  I didn't add any embellishments since this was a CAS challenge.  That  is always hard for me.

    Your Santa is great! Fantastic colouring makes him pop off the page. The textured background is wonderful - so warm and cosy. Lovely card - and the envelope is a bit of fun too! Enjoy your week. :-)

    Oh, WOW, Claire! This fabulous, embossed panel is the perfect backdrop for this amazing Santa. He is such a cutie, and you have colored him so perfectly. What a great clean and simple holiday card. I LOVE it!

    Claire, I just love that embossed background - reminds me of the first jersey I tried to knit! The crisp white perfectly highlights your fabulous Santa. You colored him beautifully and he just pops from the base. I love it. Thanks for rocking my challenge this week
