Can you believe it is the last day of May?
It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!
The lovely Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge for all of us! I always love these boards. There are just so many possibilities! Have fun!
My card is completed using the Middle Column: Girly, Die-Cut, Friendship
I love this set, so I decided to make another card with it. I am a huge fan of lipstick and miss wearing it. With a mask on, I figure no one can see it so, I don't waste it. LOL! I hope we can sport our favorite shade again very soon!
My card is created on a white card base. I used Mint Macaron behind my " Best Dressed" DSP (Stampin' Up!) I used an oval stitched dies by MFT for the ovals. The "Dressed To Impress" (SU) stamp set was used to stamp the lipstick and sentiment ! I added a smear of lipstick in Lovely Lipstick ink. I colored the tubes with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine. A few sparkling clear sequins were added to complete my card.

I know what you mean about the lipstick...I put some on the other day to go out, and then thought to myself "Well that was a waste!" But at least we can have some gorgeous lipstick on our cards, right?! Well done! LOVE those papers!ReplyDelete
Claire, this set is just SO perfect for you. Once again, you have made another fabulous card show casing how fabulous it is. I've been holding off, but because of you - this set is now on the pad for ordering on Wednesday. Thank you for rocking my grid this week my friend and happy birthday coming up!!! Hopefully you will get to wear some of your gorgeous lipstick on that day!ReplyDelete
Great cards for this sketch challenge. I love the masculine and feminine showing as it shows how different a sketch can look when the creative mind gets to work with it. Love the lipstick theme on your second card. No waste here! Thanks for sharing.ReplyDelete

Claire, your gorgeous card is just as bold as the fun sentiment dictates! I have a girl friend for which this would be absolutely perfect...wait, and maybe a couple more! I may have to reconsider and get this set, it is sooo fun as you have shown us. Love this, you are the best at the girly cards, my friend!ReplyDelete

LOL - I'm pretty sure I HAVE a lipstick...somewhere! And it's not even a little bold! But I love your bright and pretty card! And you WEAR that lipstick, girl! :)ReplyDelete
Is this not the cutest girly card ever! I am so in love with the bold smear of lipstick. Once upon a time I would have rocked that color...now I am much more subdued! lol Have a wonderful weekend!ReplyDelete
There is nothing more girly than a splash of red lipstick Claire for sure! Love your card and I hope you get to wear your lippy again soon!ReplyDelete
I hear you, my friend! No use wasting perfectly good lipstick under those masks. A lipstick themed card is the next best thing. This is so fun and girly, I just love it!ReplyDelete
