This card is special because I created it for my Mom! She turns 91 on 9-9. She loves sunflowers and always grew them on our farm. The card is created on a dark brown card base. I added a white layer on top of the base. The next layer is created on Yupo paper using alcohol inks. I used brown and yellow inks. I cut this layer with a postage stamp die. The sunflowers were punched using an old SU punch. I believe it was called festive flower punch. I inked the edges of the yellow paper and also cut green leaves using the same punch. The center is created with a round die using dark brown card stock and then I embossed it with a folder. I wrote a personal message inside. I did not want to add a sentiment to the front of the card.
Don't forget to check out all the amazing projects from the Design Team.
