Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's, Daddy's, Father's, Pop's and Grands out there! I hope your day is extra special!
I am the hostess of The Paper Players this week. It is Clean & Simple week! The theme is "Summer Beverages." There are soooo many possibilities! ---Lemonade, Tea, Water, Iced Coffee, Cocktails, Beer, Wine. We can't wait to see what you create!
My card is created on a white card base. I cut the top panel with the Wonky Stitches die from Avery Elle. The lemons are stamped in two shades of yellow using the Papertrey Inks Make It Market stamp kit. The iced tea glass is from Your Next Stamp Java Geek stamp set. I colored the tea with Copic Markers. Wink of Stella was added for shine. The sentiment is from W Plus 9 Southern Sentiments. Since it is CAS week, I did not add any embellishments. It is so difficult for me to resist.

I think I may have been disappointed if a southern gal didn't use sweet tea for their card! LOL! You did not disappoint!!! Such a cute card, and now I'm thirsty after looking at all the beverage cards. This was such a fun challenge idea!
ReplyDeleteYour sweet tea looks so refreshing Claire and I love the border of lemons! The perfect summer beverage for a southern gal! What a fun CAS challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is this, Claire! I had never heard this saying before...I LOVE it! Your glass of sweet tea is making me crave a cold glass of it. Such a fun challenge for sure!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely DARLING Claire! Even though I'm an (un)-sweet tea gal usually, I do appreciate some fresh brewed southern sweet tea on occasion. You can't live in the south and NOT appreciate the refreshment it brings on a hot day. Super fun!
