Life Is Sweet--The Challenge #85

It's a FABULOUS day because we are back at THE CHALLENGE! The Challenge run by Leslie Croghan, was put on hold while Leslie was tending to her newest addition to her family, the most beautiful baby girl!

We are so excited and can't wait for you to play along with our first challenge for 2017. Every week is a different type of challenge. The first week of the month is an inspiration photo.

A few rules to keep things fun and fair!

I was inspired by the rainbow and the vast array of sweets on the table. My card is created on a turquoise card base. I used My Favorite Things Bold Stripes cover up die to create the white frame and the rainbow stripes. (I promise the bottom one is purple, but it doesn't look like it in the picture!) I added a white circle cut with the SugarPea Designs Stitched Circle dies. The sentiment is stamped in black Memento ink using the Taylored Expressions How Sweet It Is stamp set. I used the "Sweet" die from Taylored Expressions to cut a black base and then cut out three more turquoise ones to make the sentiment dimensional. I added a red heart and lots of glossy accents to make it look shiny like icing. A few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added for shine.
