I am playing along with the Color Throwdown and the 11th NBUS (Never-Before-Used-Schtuff) challenge sponsored by Darnell. I love the colors in this challenge. I am always a primary color fan. Darnell wants us to play with "schtuff" we have never used. The stamp set, train track and my new stencil brushes have been sitting on my table for weeks just waiting their turn to be used. By the way, Darnell, I had to make this card twice because I had a lot of boo-boos in the first one! LOL! The flowers are still leaning in this one.
My card is created on a white card base. I cut two Garden Green patches of grass using the Lawn Fawn Meadow Borders dies. I also cut one flower border die and then cut it in yellow and red to cut out the little flowers. On watercolor paper, I used a stencil brush to create the sun and the sky with distress inks. I cut two clouds from Mama Elephant sky dies and distressed them in blue ink. The little bunny is a sticker from Doodlebug Easter Express. I cut a train track using the railroad slider die and used a penny to create the sliding train. The little bunny can now slide up and down the track. No wonder he has that big smile on his face! The sentiment is heat embossed in white "Some Bunny loves you to pieces" is from Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny stamp set.
HUGS!

When I first saw this I thought it was so darling, Claire, and then when I read on and realized that it was a SLIDER card, I really started to grin! It is super that it's not only cute but interactive, as well! (The leaning flowers don't count as boo-boos because I'm sure it was a windy day, not operator error, lol!) Thank you so much for joining in my NBUS Challenge #11!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely adorable Claire!! Love this sweet little screen. Choo choo!!
ReplyDeleteI love this cute and adorable spring design. So cute with that little train riding through. I agree with Darnell...the flowers were bent from the wind.
