It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! I am the hostess this week and I chose some of my favorite colors to work with! Bright, fun and cheerful-- Gloomy winter days call for HAPPY colors! We can't wait to see what you create!
My base card is Real Red and the next layer is Tempting Turquoise. I used My Favorite Things-Blueprints 15 dies to cut all the pieces on my card. I created a plaid paper using Simon Says Stamp-Jumbo Stripes Stamp Set and the three colors-Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo. The sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps-Special Delivery I added a couple Tempting Turquoise candy dots and some Wink of Stella on the heart for shine.
So happy you stopped by my blog today! Please leave a message! I love to hear from you!

ReplyDeleteResponse question about burlap on my card: Are you familiar with PowerPoint? The burlap is composed of three parts as follows: Main body and two fuzz edges. The main body is a rectangle modified with the subtract function of have the notch on right side and “heart” cutouts (1/2 of desired length and width). There is one fuzz edge at first which is just a rectangle (2/3 of desired length and width). The target color and a shade of dark black are used in both forms. The main pattern is a “75%”. The fuzz is “Light vertical”. Copy paste both to bitmaps. Use the “Artistic Effects > Texturizer“ on both bitmaps. Stretch the objects to desired size. Duplicate the fuzz to make a complete picture. Select the 3 part and copy as bitmap and align it in the card. It took a lot of experimentation to come up with this.
ReplyDeleteBTW, you have great card. I like the mix of geometric objects.
ReplyDeleteLove the patterns and layers and how you still were able to make a fresh and clean lined card!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
