Happy New Year 2016-Sparkle & Shine Challenge

The new Sparkle & Shine Challenge is here and we hope you will play along with us!

For this challenge we are sponsored by the amazing Create A Smile Stamps! The winner of our challenge will receive a $25 gift card to the online store and will be asked to be our Guest Designer for next month. 

My card is created on a white card base.  My Favorite Things Blueprints #21 die set was used to create the stitching.  The balloons were created with a circle mask using the Stampin' Up! Celebrate Today stamp set and distress inks on watercolor paper.  I used a blending tool to create them.  Fun Foam was added below the balloons for dimension.  I found this silver foil string in my stash to add to the balloons.  Silver foil was used to created the "2016" using the SugarCuts Dies 10 piece die set available in January from SugarPea Designs.  I stamped the Happy New Year (Stampin' Up! Teeny Tiny Wishes) with Versa Fine Black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Pretty Pink Posh--Silver Star Confetti were attached for extra sparkle and shine. Wink of Stella was added on the balloons for more shine.
