It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!
A huge thank you for everyone that played along with my bright color challenge last week! Wow! So many fabulous cards!
This week the Sensational Sandy is our hostess. The challenge is to create a Clean and Simple Valentine!
If you follow my blog, you know that Clean and Simple is the most difficult card for me to make. I bought this Simon Says Scrolled Heart die last year and never used it. I decided it was perfect for my card. I cut it out in Real Red card stock and adhered it to a white card base.
I stamped the sentiment from a My Favorite Things stamp, Love You More in black Versa Fine ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. A few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added for sparkle. I think this is the simplest card I ever created.
So happy you stopped by my blog today! Please leave a message! I love to hear from you!
Don't forget to check out the fabulous inspirations from our design team and I hope that you will play along with our challenge this week.

ReplyDeleteI can see why you were smitten with this die--it's gorgeous! What a perfect CAS valentine, my friend!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! that die is gorgeous and perfect for this CAS challenge. I too have a bit of difficulty creating CAS cards, this is a style I'm just getting familiar with, I think the most challenging aspect is having to leave a lot of "white" space on my cards but at the same time, it's a very elegant and beautiful way to make them.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
