It's Sunday and time for a new sketch challenge at The Paper Players! I am the hostess this week and if you follow my blog, you know I LOVE layers--LOTS AND LOTS of layers!!!! I hope you will play along with us! We can't wait to see what you create!
I am also entering my card in the Addicted to Stamps Challenge. The theme is holidays and you know I do love Halloween!
My card base is white. (5 1/2 X 4 1/4) Using my SugarPea Designs-Zig Zag Rectangle Stitched Dies , I cut a piece of retired Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper "Motley Monsters" to cover the base card. Basic Black was placed under the other three layers to make them pop. The "Motley Monster's" DSP is used on the other layers. The top layer is white. The scalloped border was cut using a MFT Blueprints 14 die using Tangerine Tango card stock.
The ghost was stamped with Momento black ink and colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment is from the same stamp set by SugarPea Designs-Eek-A-Boo. I stamped the sentiment with black Versa Fine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. A black button was added with Halloween twine bow. Wink of Stella was added to give the ghost some extra shine!
So happy you stopped by my blog today! Please leave a message! I love to hear from you!
Don't forget to check out the fabulous inspirations from our design team and I hope that you will play along with our challenge this week.

The black frames really add definition to all of the patterns and keep it from feeling busy ... so fun.
